Serendipity strikes. Due to the Senior Center patio project and the welding they were doing this afternoon, I had to walk the dog around the corner and down Corry Street. And so I came across a trailer with fiber runs sticking out the back end, with someone inside the trailer splicing my fiber pair to the backbone fiber. Note that the splitter box, which was up the pole previously, is now inside the trailer, presumably with someone doing the splicing.
When they are done I’m assuming the fibers will be rolled up and the splitter box will be strapped back up. This should be the last of the “outside” tasks. I understand that the backbone fibers are already connected at the MVECA end, so when the “inside” team is done I should be live.
